How to Deactivate User Accounts

It is best practice to deactivate user accounts if the user no longer works for your health care system. Deactivating an account is ER Express' way of deleting a user account that will no longer be used. This help desk article will step you through how to deactivate a user.


Step 1: Navigate to Global Settings Users.


Step 2:
Search for a user by typing in their last name (1), first name (2), username (3), OR group (4).


Step 3: Double click on the user you wish to deactivate. This will open a modal with their user profile. 


Step 4: Click on the magnify glass icon next to Account Status.


Step 5: Select Inactive from the dropdown menu and then click Save. This user is now deactivated.
