5. Schedule & Host End User Training Sessions

- To ensure a seamless transition to our new application, you will need to retrain/reeducate your team to view and interact with patient information, edit schedule templates, and more.
- We recommend a “Train the Trainer” approach supplemented with our extensive digital library of ‘How To’ articles, in-app guided tutorials, and supplemental training videos.

- We recommend that you host training sessions 1-2 weeks prior to go-live.

6. Review & Provision End User Credentials
- Details
- Your team will access the upgraded ER Express application through a new URL with new usernames and passwords. For security reasons, you (or someone on your team) will be responsible for user account provisioning in the ER Express application.
- Read the documentation below to learn more about access privileges and username/password requirements.

- We recommend that you create end user accounts prior to staff training sessions, 1-2 weeks before go-live.

7. Schedule Meeting for Final Workflow Testing

- Quickly test patient workflow with mock patient reservations, confirm alerts are functioning properly, and confirm staff can easily access ER Express Control Panel.

8. Create Schedule Template for New Application

- Choose which times to offer patients for online reservations, set open & close hours, and create special holiday hours.

9. Retire Schedule Template for Old Application
- Details
- You will need to deactivate online check-in time slots in the old ER Express Control Panel prior to your migration go-live.
- We recommend removing all future time slots two days prior to go live. For example, if your go-live is set for Wednesday, you should login to the old ER Express Control Panel on Monday to remove all timeslots.
