ER Express automatically calculates projected treatment times for patients when they sign-in. The "Accuracy Score" displays the percentage of patients moved from the "New" to "Ready for Room" queue within 15 minutes of the projected treatment time.
The "Current Wait Time" represents the best prediction of the door-to-bed time for the next walk-in patient.
Step 1: Manually update your facility's wait time whenever you deem necessary. Simply click the "Adjust" button to add or remove time to future patients' projected treatment times.
Step 2: To manually add wait time, click the green “More Wait / +” icon. The wait time will increase by 30+ minutes and the next patient's projected treatment time will be pushed back. Click the "Less Wait / -" icon to remove wait time. Click "Save Changes" when you are done.
Step 4: A green box will appear around the current wait time and next treatment time. The adjustment will be in effect for two hours. To revert to the unadjusted treatment time, click the blue “Adjust” button again, then click “Less Wait / -” to remove the additional wait time. Click "Save Changes" when you are done.
