How to Manage Auditory Cues

Need a better way of staying on top of new check-ins, arrivals, or two-way texts? Turn on our auditory cues to receive a dinging alert for the following:

  • New Walk-in Reservation - Any time a patient or client uses the Walk-in Express product (aka Mobile Check-in for our veterinary customers) to check in and appears in the 1st column in your Patient Queue a dinging alert can go off.
  • New Online Reservation - Any time a patient or client uses the Check-in Express product to check in and appears in the 1st column in your Patient Queue a dinging alert can go off.
  • Online Home to Online Arrived - When a patient or client has checked in via Check-in Express, arrives at your facility and either texts "1" or select the "I already checked in online" option on the Walk-in form a dinging alert can go off.
  • Next Day Arrivals - If your facility supports next day check-ins via Check-in Express, a dinging alert can go off any time a patient checks in for a next day time slot and appears in your Next Day column in the Patient Queue.
  • Inbound Two-way Text - Any time a patient responds back to a two-way text that a staff member has sent out to them.

Step 4:  Below the list of cues with toggles, you will see Chime duration. Select from the dropdown 2 Cycles, 5 Cycles, or Persistent

  • 2 Cycles will cause the dinging alert (or chime) to go off twice in a row
  • 5 Cycles will cause the dinging alert to go off 5 times in a row
  • Persistent will keep dinging until a user acknowledges the new cue. This means clicking into the new patient card and/or clicking on the new two-way text.

Once again, remember to hit the green Save button to the right to preserve your edits or the white Cancel button to the right to cancel any edits to the Chime duration.
